Head of Engineering
Full time | Preferably Islamabad - open to remote candidates
Lunaworks has a product idea in the EdTech space ready to go into development. They are looking for a Head of Engineering who is excited about building and scaling products from scratch and can inspire the mission for the engineering team to touch millions of lives across the world. As Head of Engineering, you will work with engineers, designers, cofounders and other stakeholders to develop and deliver the highest quality product into the market.
In this role, you will:
Help build a technology stack and workflows aligned with the goals of the startup
Inspire an engineering culture of innovation and improvement
Build and support the foundational building blocks of the product
Operate and scale the systems and toolkits you and team build
Ship code to millions of potential app users
Work with a number of different API integrations
Build rapport with each member of the Engineering Team and support them through coaching and mentorship to help level up their skills.
Dig into bugs and feature requests
Monitor app performance through dashboards and tools
The ideal candidate will:
Have a track record of delivering successful products as an engineer particularly IOS apps
Have experience guiding improvement of processes and technologies
Have experience managing teams of full stack and frontend engineers
Have a holistic understanding of the intersection of business and technology decisions
Have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to explain complex ideas to all stakeholder with or without a technical background
