We are seeking a Software Engineer (Flutter) for our client Finqalab - a product of Next Capital.

Finqalab is on a mission to change the way people think about financial management and help them grow their money with ease. As a Software Engineer (Flutter) at Finqalab, you will help them further this mission by assisting with the development of cross platform applications.

In this role, you will:

  • Build and ship robust apps to Android / iOS devices using a single codebase

  • Write readable and clear code using Dart and Flutter that will be extensively documented for future use and upgrades

  • Engage in agile web development using cutting edge web technologies and platforms

  • Work closely with product managers and the development team to propose technical solutions, risk mitigation strategies, user friendly solutions to customer problems

  • Resolve bugs 

  • Effectively interact with non-technical stakeholders

The ideal candidate will:

  • Preferably have a bachelor’s degree in computer sciences

  • Have at least 2 years of mobile app development experience

  • Have high proficiency in Dart and Flutter

  • Be experienced with deploying applications to Google Play Store and Apple App Store

  • Be experienced with third-party libraries, RESTful and SOAP APIs

  • Be able to write readable code, create extensive documentation for existing code, and refactor the previously written code into readable state

  • Have good understanding of OOP and Design Patterns

  • Be experienced with Git version control

  • Be experienced with unit testing

Native mobile app development experience with either Java / Swift / Objective-C / Kotlin, will be an added advantage
