Partnerships & Operations Manager
FULL TIME | KARACHI
We are looking for a Partnerships and Operations Manage for one of our clients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships to enable growth. The role requires someone with with extreme professionalism, excellent relationship management, prior business development experience and knowledge around operational management in the digital financial services space.
In this role, you will:
Develop and execute on business strategy including go-to-market strategy, strategic partnerships and business growth
Drive and lead business development and sales efforts by developing new commercial partnerships for all products and services
Be responsible for revenue growth of existing products in Pakistan
Manage and build partnerships with financial and non-financial institutions (e.g. banking partners, payments gateways, payment service providers, merchant networks and others)
Ensure compliance with reference to all regulatory bodies
Meet with key stakeholders and managing the day-to-day operations of products
Address any key issues with stakeholders that may arise during day to day operations
Report weekly and monthly to key Stakeholders and the Board
Manage the operations of the business in Pakistan
The ideal candidate will:
Have a proven experience in a role similar to that of a Senior Partnerships Manager, B2B Business Development and Sales Manager, Product Manager and Growth Manager and preferably have served as an early employee of a start-up
Have a university degree (Business related)
Have previous FinTech/Financial Services working experience and have a solid understanding of the banking and mobile network digital payment ecosystem in Pakistan
Have good knowledge of digital financial services and digital products
Have excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills in English and Urdu
Be experienced in influencing and gaining buy-in from executives sponsors, team members, partners and peers
Be familiar with product marketing tactics (e.g. integrated marketing campaigns)
Be experienced in putting market activation campaigns and teams together to drive product uptake and utilization
Be Independent implementer and self-starter
Demonstrate decisiveness in resolving business problems, making decisions and identifying priorities
Have the ability to work with a remote global teams, both technical and non-technical
Have an analytical mind and strong quantitative skills
Have the ability to move fast, pivot and adapt to the external environment
Create and support diverse and inclusive work environment

The client is a B2B fintech company that has built growth APIs & Liquidity Platform for Micro-merchants and Agent Networks to solve their greatest constraint to business growth, namely liquidity.
Their vision is to build financial identities to create a platform where, with the help of, Financial Service Providers they provide access to the long tail of the informal retail sector that, up till now, has been out of reach of the formal financial sector. By providing access to financial services, these micro-merchants will be better equipped to grow their businesses, and will then contribute to greater economic productivity. By developing financial identities, coupled with their customisable lending platform and by offering extensible APIs for any fintech, bank or telco managing networks of agents and merchants, they believe that by creating proprietary financial identities, this will enable better distribution of upstream financial products to the long tail of the informal sector that has otherwise been unreachable.
